Fate Not Chosen, is written with as much magic as the characters possess magic.
The main character is Isabelle. She’s lived a sheltered life in a small farm town with her step-parents took her in after her real parents were murdered. Isabelle has an older brother, but hasn’t spoken to him in years. Then one day she gets a message from Joshua, her brother, saying she’s in danger and she must get to the big city immediately!
And this is where the action!
Isabelle is being stalked and she thinks someone wants herdead. Through many trials to the city, but can her brother really protect her? Or will she still be in danger?
Fun read. Good character development, and interesting story line, but, some word usage is awkward or incorrect. I'm not sure you understand the meanings of some of the words you use. However I am grateful that the language is clean and so far I've found no explicit sexual references, or I wouldn't finish this book or ever read any more.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this. Definitely liked it and enjoyed it completely. Good characters, nicely developed. Good story line. Nicely detailed world with a nice bit of magic added. The magic is nicely explained too. Recommended.
